A chance

A chance

A Poem by Tenten

The possibility of existing by your side still lingers desperately in my heart

Thoughts of content moments in the summer sun float by my eyes

Hopes of winter kisses, and a bed that holds two souls

Just moments with you, oh the painful possibility

But I’m not the clever type

To pull out a song or letter

To confess in blushing moments

I fear hurt and pain in the emotional mental variety

So I’ll stay here and in a moment

There will be an e-mail ‘how is you’re day’

And I’ll want to say ‘I like you…are we still ok?’

But I’m of a cravenly breed

Oh dear this day is never any good when the heart can get so twisted
