Because you always think there will be tomorrow

You forget to say today

How much you care

How much they matter

All that you can thank them for

It slips your mind

They won’t be here to share next weeks smile

So you don’t tell them ‘I love you’

Or reach for that second longer hug

You don’t even look as they walk out the door

I don’t want to forget

I don’t want to miss out

So, I Love You

And if you where here, I’d hold you tight

I’d meet your eyes and say

Even if there is a tomorrow

I’m glad I did this all today
