Ink Stained

Ink Stained

A Poem by Tenten

marring this body in ink
with symbols forgotten in time
rediscovered, new love
new life
new age
new meanings
five points
six colors
three circles in unison
two complete tales
spun and told by thieving words
hands unknown giving the power
of flesh to canvas
in pigment and unspoken tones
marring this body in ink
a precious gift of life
