Headlight Reflection

Headlight Reflection

A Poem by Tenten

I catch a glimpse of her in the window
Head lights reflecting off the scratches
Her knowing look
Her smile that never leaves
The wisdom in her eyes
I catch her face in the mirror
Late a night after good days
She’s there for just a moment
This face that I know but is unknown
The beauty I caught before
Flame and books and nightmare tales spun
I can glimpse her just for a moment
Than the light fades away
In the second glimpse peak
