pasts regret

pasts regret

A Poem by Tenten

In our past
We have moments of regret
With him
I would have held tighter
Kept that sobbing child in my arms
For her
I would have confessed
My confused teenage love and fear
To them
I would have offered more
Than the knowledge of friendship
Always, I should have been there
For them
The regrets of childhood
Time and pride never allow us to confess
