The Land...

The land is flooding
As banks over fill
Water consuming homes
Riding the world of material belongings
 
The land is on fire
Smoke in the air
Telling the loss of a house
A lifetime working towards
Tearing a rift into the ground
Consuming the world
 
The land is dying
In a method of rebirth
Loss of lives
Loss of homes
The gain of silence
The land is scarred
