Dawn of a New Beginning

the gate rolls back and the beast flys forword,

i hear the crouds cheering as the dragon of ancient time comes forword

i take a breath and draw my sword 

plant my feet firmly on the ground and stare it in the eyes

i see the thick black smoke flow from his nostrals

the fire that comes from the pit of his massive dark abyss

i know what i must do,

i know that if i look away i will be consumed into burning ashes for all eternity

i can feel my heart pounding in my chest

i hear the rush in my ears

and still i must keep going

i lung forword with a cry

in an instant i am under the great beast

i leap into the air and slice opens its massive belly open

i rolll out of the way as it reals and stomps about flaims shooting across the areana

and now is the moment where i have to decide to stand my ground and face it

i cant turn back now

now is the time to stand up and take the leap of faith and fight with all my might

i have to know the future depends upon this choice

so i clear my mind stair into his black eyes and i fight until he takes his last breath.

covered in grime and sweat heart still racing with adrenaline muscles sore

i sink to the ground and allow myself to be tended to relishing in the safety i feel once more.
