Yelling at Paper

Yelling at Paper

A Poem by Chelsea
"

A short poem about what writing means to me, I hope you find that you have this in common.

"

Yelling at Paper

My life lays scrawled around me

In stacks of lined paper

The pages take me back in time

The times both good and bad

I scratch out the bad

I crumple the pain

I erase the print

I highlight the good times

I make them stand out

So they jump at me and call “Remember Me”

When I read the writing

I wonder am I yelling my pain and happiness at paper;

Or writing for others?

I like this, but just my opinion: "I crumple the pain

I erase the print"
I'd put: "I crumple the print
I erase the pain."

Well I'm not a published poet/author but I really like this it's so true. Great job

I wonder that too. I think I write mostly for myself. But I yearn to tell my story to others too. Loved this write. It's thought provoking for a writer.
