Mask

A poem written I wrote for fellow teens, just take "your mask off".

Mask

He walks around with a masked face

A face that never shows emotion

No matter how happy,

How sad,

No emotions can change the mask

I try and touch him

To break the mask

And show him the world without his eyes being blinded

I’m shoved away

Eventually I find a way to weave into his life.

Author's Note

Hello, I wrote this poem in hopes that fellow teens would realize that we look at ourselves and we may not be happy. But others look at us and see light. But you will miss out on those unless “you take your mask off”.
