looking in the mirror

what do i see?

a beautiful face

looking at me

 

eyes of golden hazel

hair of a dark dark brown

a smile of sunshine

youre not putting me down

 

Heart of Gold

putting everyone else first

its time to work on me

time to put me first

 

looking in the mirror

what do i see?

my future lies ahead

just wait and see

sometimes it takes us way too long to put ourselves first, and sometimes we do need to do that.

it is good to care for others, take care of them, to give....

but there is also a time to receive..to get rather than give.

to take care of us.
