and butterflies

and butterflies

A Poem by Sams

Grass. And trees. And butterflies.

A sky so blue, it looks like the ones you’d see in picture books.

And butterflies.

A family of birds, riding the winds, serenading the valley from dawn till dusk.

And butterflies.

Rabbits, brown and black, white and grey. Spotted, speckled, striped.

Clovers and dandelions and clovers and

butterflies.

The rabbits, they multiply, divide and conquer.

They down the bountiful clovers, the dandelions and the clovers.

They live and they die and over again.

Rabbits and butterflies.

This is a repeat post from my story Solom. In the story, I use poetry multiple times to move the story along. I wanted to upload this separately, because it is a poem and I'm really proud of it. If it doesn't make sense out of context, feel free to check out the rest of my story! Thank you so much for reading and have a great rest of your day :)
