Salli

Salli went mad very long ago. Most of the people stuck in here do. 

She fashioned herself a little valley, so small and so dry. She spends her days killing ants at her feet. 

I tried speaking to her once, long ago, and she just turned and tried to catch me the way she catches the ants. When it didn’t work, she nearly lost her voice from screaming.

I don’t ever talk to Salli anymore. I just look in past her door, and watch as the girl grins and kills. It’s a pointless way of killing, but it’s a pointless way to live.

I don’t know what happened to Lucas. He was in the room with Salli, the way Vulpis is in the room with Aesop, but at some point he disappeared. I don’t think about where he might have gone, because I do not want to know.

After Ant Hill, I go to the Pork Farm.
