Grass

Grass

A Chapter by Sams

“What was the grass like, Nox?”
“It was kinda itchy.”
“Oh, come one, it couldn’t have been that bad.”
“I mean, I didn’t hate it. It was pretty to look at. It was a cheerful color.”
“What color was the grass?”
“Green.”
“Green grass! Those have the same sound at the start, don’t they?”
“Yeah, they do.”
“Nox, you should show me green. I wanna see some green.”
“No.”
“Oh, come on, why not?”
“Because I don’t like green. I like things the way they are.”
“Not even for a day? Not even a few hours?”
“No. No green, no grass. I like things just fine, just how they are.”

Love this, it definitely sounds like a few conversations I've overheard in my time.
