A poem about deception.

 

 

It’s Magic!

For my next trick,

I’ll take away what is making

Everyone sick around here.

 

I’ve been hired by BP to

make the oil spill magically disappear.

 

Hocus pocus! Abracadabra!

Here take this pill,

wear this amulet spelling

ABRACADABRA to ward off this disease,

and put these rose-colored glasses on.

 

That black splat out

there is just whack!

 

According to BP,

It’s really just a

big blob of bird crap!

BP are even doing infomercials now on how there taking care of all the coastlines and all the thousands of people involved. According to what I've just recently heard the cap did not really work and this thing may be leaking oil till august. I'm sure it will be years to come before people find out the real impact of this disaster. I don't believe any of them nor do I believe our government. Good poem and good point.
