New Birth

New Birth

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A new beginnings poem.

"

New Birth

My world is opening up

to be something bold and new,

Like a big white magnolia blossom

it's fragrant and blooming.

How could something brilliant and special come

from tragedy and feelings of blue?

All this time I thought

my own blood and carnage was looming.
