My Restless Pillow

My Restless Pillow

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A silly poem.

"

My Restless Pillow

Crying in my pillow,

my limbs hanging

as feeble and limp

as a weeping willow.

Drowning my sorrows

 in mounds of raspberry

stuffed cheesecake phyllo,

running from my regretful

days in ten gallon hat Texas,

when I spent my days

walking with the gray armadillo..
