The New View In My Room

The New View In My Room

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A love poem

"

The New View In My Room

In a crowded smoky room

You saw me.

Now you keep coming

Back to see me over and over.

Everywhere I go I see your face,

I taste your kiss and I wish to

Feel your hands all over my body.

I’m craving you

Like cigarettes,

I love your smoky grey

Eyes and how good

You feel between my thighs.

I sigh each time

I think of you

And how your hips rise

Between my thighs.

You’re like the new

View in my room.

All I see lately is you.

Oh yes the passion and lust when new love forms... nothing like it indeed...
I really loved these lines...

I love your smoky grey

Eyes and how good

You feel between my thighs.

The obsession of new love. That's all we think about, the person we are in love with, and the unending fantasies that go along with it. And after we get a taste of that person, it all intensifies. Outstanding poem.
