Death Valley Run

Death Valley Run

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A poem about a run I took in Death Valley.

"
Running through the
hot sands of the desert,
taking in the views
of the pretty
flowers that sprout
out of nothing.

As the sun rises,
my heart
pulls up and out
like the faces
 of the flowers
following
their father sun

Bet that was quite the trip!
I've never been to Death Valley, but can imagine.
"pretty flowers that sprout out of nothing" amazing, huh.

A quick but stunning little write... it pulled me into the scenery of your run with artistic flare. Very nice.
