Feeling HumanA Poem by Marie HarrisonA poem about conversation
Feeling Human What a lift the gift of a spontaneous conversation is to me, With a stranger on a bus or with a fellow co-worker at lunch. The exchange of new ideas or our thoughts on life, They erase the strife of the daily grind and give me A chance to unwind. It’s a great time for connection with my common man. These conversations make my world feel like I’ve left the Land of artificial intelligence for a while, They make me feel human.
