Make Your Own Decisions

Make Your Own Decisions

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A poem about owning what paths you take in life.

"

Make Your Own Decisions

 Walk light as a feather

For you’re at the fork in the road.

Get very clear which path you’ll take,

One could lead to heaven the other

Could lead to the land of the snakes.

No matter which path you take,

Make sure you’re clear that

Whatever road you go down

Was your choice, that you

Took the wheel to steer

Yourself down that road.

For if you lose there’s no one to blame

But yourself, there’s more than

Money on the line, it’s your life that

Will be wagered.
