tilt-a-whirl

tilt-a-whirl

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A carnival ride poem.

"

tilt-a-whirl

tilt-a-whirl
how you make twirling
so much fun.

with every twirl
I grab the girl
screaming next to me

with her curls
and her dimples
she looks to sweet
when she looks my way

but I swear
if she hurls on me
while I'm on this ride

I might hurl on
the other girl
next to me
