Cheetah

Cheetah

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A poem about running like a Cheetah.

"

Cheetah

Turning heads

And making a name

In your sharp suit

Silk tie and

Italian leather

Shoes

How sly you look

With your bright eyes

And your crooked grin

Always standing so tall

Towering over me

Waiting for a chance

To deflower me

Better lace up

Your running shoes

Running like a cheetah

In the wind empowers me

By far my favorite big cat is the cheetah. The greatest athletes on earth...and they'd have to be to catch up to you, Marie.
