Amongst the crowd eyes glanced;

Conversations struck smiles grew,

Romance was kismet.

Wow. So much for so few of words. I think that Senryu and Haiku are two of the more difficult poetry styles because you have to first find a topic and second, you have to keep the syllable count a certain way. Probably why these are two of my favorite to write! Keep up the great poetry, Marie.
