ArdmoreA Poem by Marie HarrisonA poem of my hometown.
Ardmore Ardmore is my mother home, my aurora. Afternoons dancing, acting and playing music kept me busy here. Apple pies and blue skies had me in an unending state of euphoria. Acid memories still don’t keep my heart away from you Ardmore. A smile of heaven and the love of people keeps me knee deep in ambrosia. Atlanta holds my body with her traffic but you have my heart and mind. Adrift are my dreams of seeing you again and your pink azalea. Alive with happiness my heart is today that I grew up cradled in you.
