The TalismanA Poem by Marie HarrisonA creepy poem.
The Talisman Ride The Talisman rides by my side My life is over there’s nowhere I can hide The lone crow does a fly by as we ride A dead manatee has washed on Beachside Only moments until I’m not alive His sharp knife is pressed Deep into my hide How did I get here, what rules did I not Abide I want life to continue, I cannot lie What did I do wrong what was my crime All I did was to enjoy my life Why was his madness generated when I smiled Now it’s time for my life to subside With my blood draining I’m barely alive © 2010 Marie HarrisonReviews
