Summer’s Spilled Milk

City dwellers pumped;

Oil effused into ocean,

Ocean creatures died.

Those birds must all be wondering why the water isn't washing off the oil.

Very nicely done!
I am always angered by the lack of concern people have for nature. Keep this up and the world we know will be nothing.
Maybe enough poems like this and uproar will change ways!

Nice, quick critic, possibly replace ocean creatures with Cetaceans?

TAO
We're Gaea's curse. We won't fix it until it's too late, but...then...man works very, very well under pressure, don't we? I like this because it speaks the truth we of greed and convenience are so unwilling to see.
