Human Fleshlings

Imperfect flesh

Fantasy perfection

Love is all we need

Yet all we want is greed

We seek perfection to plant our seed

We expect them to follow our lead

We’re full of sin

How can we expect to win?

Short and sweet. I like it. I actually wonder the same thing to myself quite frequently (however, different wording)

Oh surely we can win if we try not to sin
And we can forget the greed if we can truely plant that seed
Then we can lie naked on the floor, and live forever more.

Enjoyed your poem as always

Life goes on, the push is always there for all living things. Humans just put their minds in it way too much sometimes. No one is perfect is correct.
