Human Fleshlings

Imperfect flesh

Fantasy perfection

 

Love is all we need

Yet all we want is greed

 

We seek perfection to plant our seed

We expect them to follow our lead

 

We’re full of sin

How can we expect to win?

very insightful piece...we always want more, more, more and of all the wrong things. Much of what we need to be happy is right in front of us and we pass it up due to the fact of greed...honest and brutal look at humanity. Nice write.

We can't expect to win, I think. Of course...our sin is what helps to define us. It is the yin of humanity. Without that sin, would we truly be human? Needless to say, this piece begs the question; we, who are examples to the children, may be the damnation of the world.

Nicely said. Perfection is not the answer, nor is perfect intelligence or perfect love. Perhaps it is perfect acceptance that would come closest to what is needed.
