Fresh Powder

Soft bits of cold down

Flitter in the air

As I jet down the steep slope

I feel alive as I speed down

My heart is racing

My mind is at rest

All is well in the world

When I’m skiing on

Fresh powder snow

You make it sound as easy as bitting into a peppermint patty. That was very appealing. Thanks to your imagery which was poignant AND eloquent I want to go snowboarding. You gave me the urge for something that I've never even done before =)

You know, I hated skiing- but you make it sound lovely- full of freedom, and I loved the way you wrote this.
