On This Special Evening

Cathedral bells are ringing

It’s Christmas Eve and

Snowy horses are teaming

Pinch me, I must be dreaming

Santa comes this evening

Get the chocolate hot and steaming

Sparkly stars will be streaming

As the cathedral bells keep ringing

Christmas lights are blinking

Little children hearts are beating

Waiting to see what Big Santa’s leaving

Just memories of how special Christmas Eve used to be for me as a child. We always had a big party at my Grandmother's house. Lots of food and fellowship. We opened presents. We went to midnight mass. Then Big Santa came to visit! A lot in one evening.
