Peaceful Christmas
A Poem by Marie Harrison
Peaceful actions of the seasons stir

Peaceful Christmas
Candlelight flickers
With shadows on the wall
Guitar strums
Pierce the air
Kitten slinks across
The room with tinsel
In her mouth
While Christmas unwraps
The night away
