Christmas On The Plains

Christmas On The Plains

All is quiet

Snow drifts across the plains

Bobcat crouches ready to pounce for food

Black crows circle above

Horses sleep in peace in their stalls

Dog snores besides the fireside

Children cuddle in their beds

As Santa’s presents await them

Mom and Dad cherish the moment

To sleep in late

There is peace on the plains

Your story of Home on the Plains is so
Nostalgic it brings tears to my eyes.

This is real, honest, beautiful writing.
More please.

Merry Christmas,
----- Eagle Cruagh
