Alone at the roadside

one of my favs of mine that i wrote

Here I stand alone at the side of the road
Left alone
Tears are streaming
I wish I were safe in bed dreaming
Truly I am alone
I stand here and weep
Falling to the ground
I heard some one sound
Some one is there
I stand there in fear
You came beside me
Saved me from loneliness
From my demise
Why did you save me is what I said
Because without you I would be dead
You pulled me close
I started to smile
Alone I will stay here with you not for just a while
I will be here till time ends till we both die
Never leaving you is what we both said
