my wings burn

my wings they burn
longing to fly
i cannot even try
the pain is too great
burning
wings of hell
no
wings of the broken and damned
tears stream down
a quivering frown
i have always fallen
fallen to the ground
no one is there to save me
frozen i fall
the world laughs at my pain
forbidden to fly
through all my lies
