behind these eyes
there are so many lies
the truth is
i'm scared
i'm sad
i'm not okay
i no longer believe in God
i don't really care about anything
the scratches on my legs
tell the story
show the pain
i lay in my bedroom and cry
i'm not good enough
nothing i do is ever good
behind these eyes
i hide all my lies
look at me
hear my cries
i'm not okay
i'll never be anything
never good enough to be happy
