In the Middle of a MiracleA Poem by Lynn HiggsEmotions waiting on answer prayerIn the Middle of a Miracle. Sometimes we don’t see it Struggles the pain blocks out the smallest things That are the first signal God is moving In our Favor We cry , We scream then we resigned Thinking its over Another trump for the World Sinking to not be seen Or heard but screaming Help Help Help Did you see Have you heard Stuck here In ths miry clay That’s quickly hardening To stop me from moving Living, breathing I have nothing left to do We were screaming for As loud as we could Has unfolded in front of our eyes We forget that small sliver That one word That act of littlest of kindness Continues to expand Changing the very mountain Or what appeared an overwhelming impossible obstacles Evolves into the unimaginable unthinkable Miiracle we could not fathom Blessing overfilled God Glory Radiate to produce the goodness He intended to give us all along. Then a sliver of light Unrecognizable Unacknowledge Not even look at twice But as the light gets closer Smallest of things builds To something else then something else Before we know it the Miracle © 2026 Lynn Higgs |
