Misused love

Misused love

A Poem by chillz

I walk a lonely road
back turned against the world
i search for a place most people
call home.

Memories of a troubled past
finally came back to hunt me at last
was it love or lust
all i know is it wasn't enough

Now i ask  myself can
we ever return to
that place call trust

We were once a reflection
of perfection ,but
now i only see a
mirrored image of rejection.

except for two minor technical problems in "back to haunt me" and "place called trust" it's a really good poem. what is it about perfection that makes us crumble? we often reject something or someone on the basis that he/she or it is not good enough, but what is good enough? seek perfection and it's a lonely walk ahead of you.

Great write! :)
