Persistent Bird

a random poem that came into my head during speech class

Have you ever seen a bird

who always talks in the third

person and seems to have never heard

that birds

dont talk? the bird

who talks in the third

person is a bird

who wants to be heard

but no one on third

street stops for the persistent bird

who always talks in the third

Well, it's been a while since I read one of your poems. I only have one question, you came up with this during speech class? I'm assuming you picked the caged bird then. Well, this was enjoyable. I had a little fun reading it, although the first time you said third person, it threw me off. I read the word person as though it was the beginning of a sentence. So... But of course, that's just me not paying attention. I got it after a while. It's not really that big of a problem. ...
