Her waters tell a thousand tales,

Her heart a thousand woes.

I hear her call across the wind;

My answer true,

For she had abandoned me,

Forsaken me.

Yet my eyes awash in tears,

My heart a joyous celebration.

My cry had rung,

He had answered.
