Haiku 3

This is my 3rd haiku I wrote when I saw that although a picture of my friends shows us being happy, I know that that was all for show. So, hence the theme of my poem: truth among lies.

Picture book of lies

 

Each photo tells a story

 

But not all are good.

Having written it while you were still in that emotion really brings something extra to it I think. Better a real feeling than none at all, yeah? I really like the opening line. It works on many different levels. Nice work.
