The Song of the Wandering Stars

The Song of the Wandering Stars

A Poem by claimflaxseed

Beneath the sky, the stars take flight,
In silver wings of ancient light.
They hum a tune, both soft and far,
The whispered song of who they are.

Through endless night they roam and weave,
With stories we could scarce believe.
Of worlds once born in fiery tides,
And dreams that travel where hope hides.

A trail of dust, a comet's tear,
They map the dance of every year.
Yet, in their glow, a secret gleams,
That time is not just what it seems.

For stars, like hearts, they never cease,
Their wanderings bring them quiet peace.
In every flicker, they remind"
We all leave something bright behind.
