The cat’s eyes open It takes in everything With one glance. Its up Prowling its territory Stalking everything that moves. It pounces A feather A shoe A butterfly A plant It stares It sees all Knows all. Blink. Dismisses everything The cat is the master In his own eyes. Comes and goes As he pleases.
