Emmett and Molly

Emmett and Molly

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

Now years have

Disappeared

You no longer

Remember

As you

Lie

In the ground

Those

Dreams

We shared

Those

Times

We dared

To want for something

Greater

Than that

Which

We had.

So I’ll carve our

Names

Yours

And Mine

Into this Tree

And

Close My Eyes

Knowing

Our memory is

Safe.

Emmett

~

Molly
