Astray

A Poem by Cassidy Mask
"

Don't really like this one..

"

You’re leading me astray

I’m following your heartbeat

Hearing your footsteps

But you’re leading me away

I try to stay on track

But your hand’s in mine

Your breath tickling my cheek

And I can’t turn back

You’re leading

Me astray

But I’m finding

I no longer

Care

You lead me to

The edge

And then you

Let go

This is the

End

You say

And you push

Me

Over the Edge

As you

Always

Planned

You’re leading me astray

I’m following your heartbeat

Hearing your footsteps

But you're leading me away
