Silence Is Deadly

Silence Is Deadly

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

I can see the trees

Bent by the force

Of the wind

I can see the rain

As it strikes the

Windowpane

I can see the waves

As they crash upon

The shore

I can see the cliff

As the edge crumbles

In a rock fall

I can see the flames

As they creep up

The burning branch

I can see the bullet

As it leaves the

Murder weapon

But I can hear

Nothing

And silence is

Deadly

Great work. A very dark and simple read. but evokes complex thoughts. Love it.
