The Glacial Welcome Of A Fallen SkyA Chapter by Cassidy MaskGirl POV.
There was no air between the earth and the sky, and the gases that filled my lungs were frozen and foul tasting. Snappy slogans had died out long ago, no could be bothered with stupid rhymes that made you want to commit murder, just for the annoying happiness they implied. Nowadays people went for whatever was strongest, best for knocking you out for a couple of hours, cheapest, or least cheerful. That was the way of the world since the sky had fallen.
