Another Painting

Another Painting

A Poem by Cassidy Mask
"

Bit rubbish really..

"

And he’s painted a picture

Yet another in a long line of black painted boards

(His opening’s tomorrow and the house

Is empty)

Except for this one

This one is different

There’s a woman

(Man?)

Dancing

(He’s) wearing a dress(?)

And there’s ketchup on the table

Trees in the background

(A church?)

But my mother has forgotten

The reason behind it all

(Something to do with computers…?)

Maybe we’d better ask

But he’s awfully busy

(His opening’s tomorrow you see…)

I like it. I like all the uncertainty in it.
