Constellations

Constellations

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

Stars surround me

Constellations

Like arms

Holding me in the darkness

And I find that I belong

Among these distant suns

So I’ll shut out all else

And pretend I can feel

Only them

Their fiery warmth

Their welcome touch

And if I ignite I’ll know

That I got what I always wanted
