Beautify Me

Beautify Me

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

Beautify me Death

And I’ll be eternally grateful

(Unless they were right

And there isn’t any life after you)

Beautify me clouds

And send rain to wash me away

(Cos we all know drowning is glamorous

And I want to look my best today)

Beautify me waves

And finished what was started by the rain

(Cos I’ve decided these puddles

Just aren’t deep enough to drown in)

Beautify me ground

And give me what the rest couldn’t

(Welcome me into you’re embrace

And I’ll finally feel welcome…)
