Happy Fists

Happy Fists

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

She’s full of hate

She looks at me

Her eyes spelling the words

While

My punches

Keep time

Or maybe

It’s the music singing

In time with my

Happy fists

Happy

Because they’re making

The world

A better place

She’s full of hate

(But then

Who wouldn’t be?)

My happy fists

Mirror hers

Or rather

She mirrors me

(Mirrored me)

She was full of hate

(Mirror Hate)

So I

She

(We)

Smashed us up.

Happy Fists
